Welcome to the “Community Issues BIG and small” group! What motivates us to get up early in the morning to make that first pot of coffee? To walk around our home in our slippers, jammies and robe, the clanking of our favorite spoon in rhythm with our start of the day thoughts sharing the aroma as it searches waking noses and sleepy eyes. Stopping at the kitchen or living room window sorting, organizing, scratching, booting up the days plan.

There are issues that perhaps many didn’t realize affect our Community that can be small and issues that are BIG wrapped in layers of city, town or township, county, state, national and some even international that have or may have an impact short term or in the future. That should concern us just as much as the Corporate policies that guide us in our jobs. Many of these issues guide us and our families freedoms and liberties from local to Federal and Internationally. Unless you live in your basement and have absolutely no life at all. (Tongue-In-Cheek!)

This group is a place where like minds and others can gather and share research and information that as always follows the guidelines of Nextdoor. If we play in their back yard, we play by their rules excluding laws that supersede policies.

We may not always agree and some subjects may be very serious in nature. If you are adult enough to sign up to Nextdoor, then PLEASE be adult enough to refrain from non-adult name calling or derogatory statements. Present your evidence and opinions backed by substantiations and hard evidence. Don’t waste YOUR/our time discussing the political Red vs Blue paradigm issues, the puppetry and magic performances, as the Gears of Industries grind in the unelected background.

From time to time I will interject words and their true legal and defined definition/meanings from known sources like Black’s Law Dictionary, Cornell Law, Websters 1828 Dictionary before words were “reinvented,” to truly illustrate the world around us.

I, personally, am NOT in it for the accolades or even a simple like. My dopamine levels are self regulated. I have nothing to sell. I feel a compulsion to present the information as I discover it and it’s up to the viewer to use discernment and look further. Cultivate that motivation that made that first pot of coffee to look our children in the eyes and say, “I will stand, defend and support you with my life!”

So, just browse the group’s posts like a newspaper or join in the conversations and leave helpful constructive comments and information. But don’t stand forever silent as “Silence IS Acquiescence.” Share what you learn and strengthen the community around you.
